Zoom from the Left with a lost Option of Zoom*Applies to: AutoCAD R12, 13, 14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*There is another Zoom option that has gone lost since the days of
R13. This Zoom option is called Left, and stands for Zoom from a
given point to a specific magnification. To access this command start up
the Zoom command and type in the option L for LEFT. This option
allows you work from a given point as your lower-left corner out a
specific magnification from that point much faster than using Zoom All or
Extents because it will usually not cause AutoCAD Regenerate itself.
Command Line (R2000, 2000i , 2002 and 2004):
Command: Zoom
Specify corner of window, enter a scale factor (nX or nXP), or
[All/Center/Dynamic/Extents/Previous/Scale/Window] <real time>: L
Lower left corner point: 0,0
Enter magnification or height <15.4102>: 12
