Zoom up on an Object or Objects with the new Zoom option
*Applies to: AutoCAD 2005*

There is new Zoom option in AutoCAD 2005.  Many of us have memorized the Zoom commands and options through out the years and may not notice changes in this area that quickly.  A new option called Object has been added to the Zoom command.  This new option is available on the Zoom Toolbar (and Flyout) as well as the View pull-down. If you start up the ZOOM command select the OBJECT option to select objects.  AutoCAD then calculates the outermost boundary for the objects and zooms up or out so the objects are viewable on screen.  This is a great option to use on Tables since they use a true in-place editor.  It can also be useful for Mtext objects or view parts of a model.
