Tip and Trick Detail
Using the @ symbol to reference the last point in the drawing
*Applies to: AutoCAD R12, 13, 14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*

When working with points in AutoCAD you can quickly reference the last point that was picked in the drawing by using the @ symbol at the command line.  The @ symbol can be used at any command line that you could type in a set of coordinates or pick a point on the screen.  Below is an example of using the @ symbol with drawing a circle at the end of the line.

Command Line:
Command: line
Specify first point: 0,0
Specify next point or [Undo]: 0,12
Specify next point or [Undo]: {ENTER}

Command: circle
Specify center point for circle or [3P/2P/Ttr (tan tan radius)]: @
Specify radius of circle or [Diameter]:  3
