Activating NetMeeting for Windows 2000 and XP*Applies to: Windows 2000 and XP*NetMeeting allows you to attend virtual meetings, share applications and data across the Internet or intranet. Prior to Windows 2000, you had to install NetMeeting seperatly, but it comes pre-installed with Windows 2000 and XP. However, by default it isn't accessible via a desktop shortcut or on the Start menu until it has been activated. The Steps below outline how to activate NetMeeting.

Click the Start button and then Run.

In the Run dialog box, enter Conf.

Follow the instructions on the dialog box screen. At the end of the configuring of NetMeeting, you will have a change to create a shortcut on the desktop and/or the Quick Launch toolbar.
