Changing the Visiblity of the Field Background*Applies to: AutoCAD 2005*If you are a user of Fields you might have
noticed that they display a gray background behind them. This is
a display only option and doesn't affect the way it is plotted.
Some people like this feature on and some others like it off.
This display feature is controlled by the System Variable FIELDDISPLAY.
Below are the values that this System Variable is allowed to have and
what the meanings are, along with an image showing what the Field looks like with the gray background enabled..
