Open more than one drawing with AutoCAD from Explorer
*Applies to: AutoCAD 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*

If you have AutoCAD and Explorer open at the same time you can drag drawings into AutoCAD and Open them up for editing.  To do this follow the steps below.

Step 1 -	Go to Windows Explorer and highlight the drawings you would like to open up, make sure that AutoCAD is visible behind Windows Explorer (See image below).
Step 2 -	Left click on the files and drag them over the Model tab within AutoCAD or over some portion of the application window, (see image below).
Step 3 -	Let go of the mouse button and AutoCAD will begin to open up the drawing files. You can use the key combination CTRL+TAB to switch between the open drawings.  See also tip Cycling through open drawings quickly
