Open more than one drawing from inside AutoCAD
*Applies to: AutoCAD 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*

From the open dialog box in AutoCAD 2000 you are able to select more than one drawing to open at a time.  Follow the steps below to perform this tip.

Step 1 -	Start up the AutoCAD command Open. Note: You will also need to use the dialog box so make sure that you have the system variable FILEDIA set to 1, this is the default setting or from the Open command line enter a tilde character and hit enter. Step 2 -	Hold down the CTRL key and left click on the files that you would like to open up.
Step 3 -	Once all the files are selected click the Open button and AutoCAD will begin to open up all the selected files.
