Add a comment to an object*Applies to: AutoCAD 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*You can append a comment to any graphical object with in your AutoCAD
2000 drawing. These
comments are part of the new pointer interface with URLs that can be
added to your drawings and viewed when you move the cursor over the
object. To add a comment
to an object select the Hyperlink option from the Insert pull down,
and then select the object. Add
your comment to the field called out as: Type the file or Web page.
Once you have added your comment click the Ok button.
Now take and move the crosshairs over the object that you just
added the comment to. You
should see your crosshairs change to include an icon with a couple
links and a globe on it. In
addition to the new icon addition you will see a tooltip show up with
your comment contained on it.
If your crosshairs doesn't change like the image you will need to
enable the Hyperlink features of AutoCAD.
To enable the feature launch the Options dialog box by
selecting the Tools pull down and then Options.
Activate the Users Preferences tab and make sure that both
options are checked under the Hyperlink section.
