Finding the length of an Arc w/ Lengthen - Part 5
*Applies to: AutoCAD 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*

This is the fifth tip in a series of ways to find a length of an Arc.  This is the second most frequent method for getting the length of an Arc in R2000 and newer.  This example shows how to find the length of an Arc with the Properties command.

Step 1 -  If the dockable container is not already loaded, type in Properties at the command line and press {ENTER}.

Step 2 -  Select the Arc object with the cursor so its gripped.  The Arc information for the Arc will be populated into the Properties dockable container.  Near the bottom of the Geometry section, shaded in red in the image, will be the length of the Arc.

Command Line:
Command: properties (or props and also key combination {CTRL} + 1)
Command: <Grip the object>
