Launching Windows Explorer by Dbl-Clicking on a folder*Applies to: Windows 98, 2000 and XP*Did you ever wonder how you can launch second session of
Windows Explorer with out having to go and select the application icon. You should find this helpful to move and copy files
faster and easier.
Step 1 - |
Locate a folder or a drive icon. Highlight the
drive icon or folder. You must make sure that you only
have a folder or drive icon selected or you may end up
with an unpredictable result.

2 - |
After the drive icon or folder has been selected, hold
down the SHIFT key and dbl-click on the drive icon or
folder. This will then launch Windows Explorer and it
will open to the drive icon or folder that you
selected and dbl-clicked on.
