Improving Regeneration through Viewres command - Part 6*Applies to: AutoCAD R12, 13, 14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*The Viewres command controls how AutoCAD will display objects that are
curved, such as circles, arcs, ellipses, and splines using short
segments. The higher the number value of Viewres, the smoother the
object will appear in the drawing window. Speed can be gained by
lowering the value of Viewres, but this will sacrifice visual accuracy.
The accuracy that is lost visually on screen is not carried over to
Plotting, so your circles arcs and other objects will Plot
correctly. Below are a couple samples so you can see how Viewres
works.
