Improving Regeneration through Viewres command - Part 6
*Applies to: AutoCAD R12, 13, 14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*

The Viewres command controls how AutoCAD will display objects that are curved, such as circles, arcs, ellipses, and splines using short segments. The higher the number value of Viewres, the smoother the object will appear in the drawing window. Speed can be gained by lowering the value of Viewres, but this will sacrifice visual accuracy.  The accuracy that is lost visually on screen is not carried over to Plotting, so your circles arcs and other objects will Plot correctly.  Below are a couple samples so you can see how Viewres works.
