Why can I only select once without deselecting objects?
*Applies to: AutoCAD R12, 13, 14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*
If you are experiencing selecting problems were you can only
select on screen once and then trying to select other objects causes
the first set to become deselected. You will want to make sure
that the System Variable PICKADD is set to the value of 1. This
allows you to continue selecting on screen while keeping the previous
objects selected as well. If PICKADD is set to 0 then the SHIFT
key must be pressed to add additional objects to the currently
selected ones.
