Tip and Trick Detail
+Options and +Dsettings command extensions
*Applies to: AutoCAD 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*

There are two commands in AutoCAD that allow you to create shortcuts to tabs in the Options and Dsettings (Drawing Settings) tab dialog boxes.  These commands are called +Options and +Dsettings.  They are extensions of the Options and Dsettings commands that are commonly used in AutoCAD 2000 and up.  Below are two examples of how to use these commands.

Command Line (+Options):
Command: +OPTIONS
Tab Index <0> : 3 (Brings up the 4th tab in the dialog box - Plotting)

Command Line (+Dsettings):
Command: +DSETTINGS
Tab Index <0> : 1 (Brings up the 2nd tab in the dialog box - Polar Tracking)
