Displaying a raster image while using Real-time Pan or Zoom*Applies to: AutoCAD R14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*Since AutoCAD R13 we had the ability to Insert Objects other
than standard AutoCAD blocks, and also in R13 came Real-time Pan and
Zooming, really late in the release. These features were not
designed all the best and with most new features they don't always
work the best with things. Then came R14 that added Real-time
Pan and Zoom as commands instead of a modular add-in. This
release fixed many problems with OLE objects and Raster Images.
With the introduction of these fully implemented commands and features
in AutoCAD came a new system variable that controlled how Real-time
Pan and Zoom worked with Raster images. This system variable is
called RTDISPLAY.
