Using Ortho with the Pan command*Applies to: AutoCAD R12, 13, 14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and 2005*Prior to AutoCAD 2000 which introduced Real-time panning
with ortho came the original pan command that has dated back to R12 if
not further. Still even after the new pan command old commands
never die they only get buried to be forgotten forever. If you
still use a version of AutoCAD prior to 2000 you can use the command
-PAN (or PAN based on version) to provide a means of ortho panning.
Below is an example of the
command line prompts that will cause the block to explode upon
insertion.
