It has been about one year ago since AutoCAD 2006 first started shipping and about two years for AutoCAD 2005, and one from AutoCAD 2004. Autodesk is holding good on its promise of an annual release cycle. The new AutoCAD 2007 is packed full of large enhancements in many areas and many small tweaks to the software. The main focus of this release is around 3D modeling and visualization, but there are other tweaks and additions to the software that help to improve general drafting functionality as well. Below is a break down on many of the items that I have found in AutoCAD 2007.
